The 2011 Iditarod

The Iditarod commemorates the 1925 serum run to save children suffering from diphtheria in Nome,
Alaska.
Mrs. Claudia Goldie is representing Dexter School and Southfield School in Alaska at the Iditarod Sled Dog Race. During the Ceremonial Race Start she will ride on a sled controlled by the musher, Kelly Griffin .
